Contest Alert: Win a $100 Gift Certificate to a Barrie Restaurant
MovingSimcoe.com, represented by Shannon Murree and the MovingSimcoe.com Team, was pleased to host a community giveaway celebrating local restaurants in Barrie, Ontario. This contest was open exclusively to our Facebook community and highlighted some of Barrie’s most popular dining spots.
The prize included a $100 gift certificate to one of the following Barrie restaurants:
- Donaleighs Irish Public House
- North Country
- Dunlop Street Diner
This giveaway was part of our ongoing commitment to supporting local businesses and engaging with residents, homeowners, and those planning a move to Barrie and Simcoe County.

The contest ran from May 25, 2023 to June 8, 2023, with the winner announced on June 10, 2023 via the
MovingSimcoe.com Facebook page.
Participants were asked to:
- Like the MovingSimcoe.com Facebook page (personal profiles only)
- Like and share the contest post publicly
- Tag two friends in the comments
The contest was not sponsored, endorsed, or administered by Facebook or the participating restaurants.
Eligibility and Prize Conditions
This contest was open to Canadian residents aged 18 and over, excluding employees and immediate family members of MovingSimcoe.com. The prize had no cash value, was non-transferable, and was redeemable only at the listed Barrie restaurants. Any costs exceeding the value of the certificate were the responsibility of the winner.
All personal information collected was used solely for contest administration in accordance with Canadian privacy regulations.
